Rick and Rene DeMane welcome you to DeMane Golf, a family business established in 1905 by Nick DeMane. This golf equipment manufacturing facility, former Wilson Sporting Goods and Ben Hogan warranty center, club and putter fitting studio, and retail/repair shop is located right at the end of their home’s driveway located at 35 Chapel Street, in Greenwich, Connecticut. Here you’ll be greeted by Rene’s curated gardens, the Hawaii isle-inspired music she has written and composed, and/or Poki, Shadow, and Peanut (their three adorable kitties). Appointments are always encouraged, but not necessary. It’s well-understood… sometimes… you just can’t wait!
We Make Beautiful Things.
The DeMane eye for detail goes beyond your shaft or club head….
Most golfers will agree that a brand new, shiny, minty golf club is a thing of beauty. DeMane Golf’s heritage was borne out of that same philosophy when family patriarch, Nick DeMane, represented one of America’s most coveted club makers: Kenneth Smith, of Shawnee, Kansas. Royals, pros, and Hollywood stars flocked to have such coveted clubs made for them, and Nick DeMane learned the business from Ken. In 1940, he founded DeMane Golf, and it wasn't;t long before Wilson Sporting Goods, Ben Hogan, and a similarly elite clientele was seeking his craftsmanship and expertise. Nick’s son, and grandson Jack, have filled Nick’s big shoes ever since, and each night, after the golf shop closes, Rene is outside making more beauty through her green thumb, or her penchant for music writing. The DeManes make beautiful things… from golf clubs to flora, you are in good hands with Rick and Rene.
